Fund raising

Not my favorite part of the job, but as we all know a necessary one!

We had a VERY successful Walk-a-thon, but as you know PTA does not recieve any of this money. All proceeds go directly to the classrooms. PTA is honored to help with this event.

Fall Fundraising- This is our biggest money maker PTA does. Well as we did do, our portion was on the lower end of our average. We have a budget lined up for the school year, and have tried to do the best we can to stick to it. Due to the increase of students, and the cost of all living, we are hoping it will all fall into place.

November PTA meeting (November 3rd) focus is money. Hoping we have some great suggestions on how to keep us WAY in the red!

Membership plus the PTA donations, does help us stay afloat. We have had MANY generous donations. We still need to encourage memberships, especially with our younger families. It is a way to keep record of how many people will be part of your future PTA. Please spread the word about becoming a member. Ideally, I would like to have new faces shadow the veteran positions, so we are all prepared for next year- and the next ;). PTA takes all types, we need all types of leaders hands on, behind the scenes, and business minded to be successful.

SOOOO  send money making ideas our way...remember it needs to be something you would be willing to buy, spend money on, or support yourself :)
